During her years as an established, successful, stand-up comic
– and
as one half of the female duo “PEP TALK” - Jill wrote all
their comedy material, song lyrics and sketches, which appeared
in radio
and
television, including Radio One’s “Steve Wright in
the Afternoon”
and
the BBC’s “Going Live.” Jill wrote several
stage shows for “PEP TALK,” which appeared at festivals across
the country,
including the
Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Over the last fifteen years Jill has published various articles on
all aspects of her comedy coaching work, including how to use
appropriate humour in wedding speeches and short comedy
features for Men’s Health Magazine.

Jill became a professional (comedy/drama) writer when her first
feature film script STYLING THE NATION was sold in
a bidding
war to Heyday Films (producers of the HARRY POTTER film
series). She has written scripts for various companies, including
Working Title Television, Bentley Productions
and World
Pictures. Jill currently has writing projects in development
with
various television and film companies. Her writing agent is Jean
