We kicked-off a very busy month, at Komedia, Brighton with our Feb' 2011 Taster Weekend Comedy Workshop. It was a popular Christmas gift for the aspiring comic in the family this year. The usual eclectic friendly mix of lovely people enjoyed the boost in confidence while having a lot of fun having a go at stand-up comedy. Their sharing/show to end their weekend workshop was a joy to watch. And all of them left the weekend with sixteen new friends...
February got even busier as we got involved with "Stand Up for Comic Relief." The BBC has persuaded 36 of their radio and television presenters from across the country to learn how to do stand-up comedy to raise money for "Comic Relief" charities. The Uk's top comics are all on board with a comedy Boot Camp and a little one to one comedy coaching. Jill has proudly joined them all as the BBC's chosen comedy mentor in the South for Brighton's own local radio presenter Neil Pringle. His eventful journey towards doing a short stand-up spot at Komedia, Brighton on Thurs 17th March will be going out on BBC Radio Sussex until the "big night."
